Nikki Heath
Parent Governor
As a past pupil of Little Hoole, I feel a strong attachment to Little Hoole and put myself forward as parent governor as I wish to give something back to the school and contribute to maintaining the achievements of the school seen to date. I bring with me a parent perspective and try to be objective and balanced which enables me to challenge and explore areas of the schools performance, strategy and aims to ensure decisions made are well rounded and considered. I have also been involved in a number of community activities around the local area and feel it important that Little Hoole maintains strong links to our local community as I believe it is most definitely a school to be proud of.
Outside of my role of governor I have worked as a civil servant for over 15 years working in learning, training and development which gives me other transferable skills. Therefore, it is possibly unsurprising that I volunteered for role of training and development nominated governor and promote and evaluate training and knowledge base across the governing body as a whole. I also continue to attend other courses as a governor to expand my skills and understanding of governance
